- We will hold tryouts in the fall to select those going to TJAS and TJSHS, as we are limited on the amount of people we can take to both competitions.
- The competition is October 20-21, 2015 at Texas A&M.
The Texas Junior Academy of Science (TJAS) is an annual meeting and science competition. High school students (grades 9-12) from across the state conduct research during the school year and present results at TJAS through both spoken and written word.
Submit a paper and give a 12 minute powerpoint presentation to a panel of judges. ALL PROJECTS ARE INDIVIDUAL, NO GROUP PROJECTS.
Rewards: Awards; cash prizes; national level competition with travel.
